New Member Named to NES Board

Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville banker Robert A. McCabe, Jr. has been named to the Nashville Electric Service Power Board to fill the remainder of newly elected state comptroller Justin P. Wilsons term. Mr. McCabe is chairman of Pinnacle Financial Partners, a position he has held since 2000. Previously, Mr. McCabe served as vice chairman of First American Corporation and held several positions with First American National Bank, including President & CEO of First American National Bank of East Tennessee, First American National Bank of Knoxville, and Executive Vice President of First American National Bank of Nashville. Mr. McCabe also serves on the boards of National Health Investors of Murfreesboro, SSC Service Solutions of Knoxville and Goldleaf Financial Services of Nashville. Active in various civic organizations within the community, Mr. McCabe is a member of the World Presidents Organization, Chief Executives Organization and serves as a trustee for the Ensworth School. He is past chairman of Cheekwood, Boy Scouts of America, Warner Parks, Nashville Symphony Board and the Nashville Downtown Partnership. Mr. McCabe holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
