NES WORKSHOP TAKES AIM AT SUMMER ENERGY BILLS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With summer in full swing, Nashville Electric Service (NES) is offering a free Neighborhood Energy Savers Workshop at the Sumner County YMCA on Saturday, July 23. Customers will learn how to keep their energy bills down, even when the heat goes up, with easy, do-it-yourself improvements for their home.

The workshop offers hands-on learning opportunities at multiple demonstration stations, including how to use caulk and weather stripping to seal air leaks around windows, doors and baseboards. Participants will also receive a free tool kit valued at $25 to get started saving energy right away.

NES will be offering additional workshops throughout the year to help customers fight against higher seasonal bills in the summer and winter. All workshops are scheduled from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
