NES Update for Wednesday, Dec 13 – 5:00 PM

Nashville Electric Service has made significant progress in restoring power to customers and we now have less than 1,000 customers without power after multiple tornadoes moved through the area Saturday. At this hour, we have about 935 customers without power, mainly in the Sherry Heights area where damage is extensive. We have restored power to more than 47,000. Crews continue to replace broken poles and work on transmission lines. Most customers should have power restored Thursday, and we expect to have all customers who are able to receive power restored by Friday

Customer Service Advisors will be at the Madison Community Center, 550 N. Dupont, on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to assist customers impacted by the storm. Advisors can update customers on restoration efforts and answer questions. Customers can also contact NES by calling 615-736-6900.
