What started with 48,000 customer power outages after multiple destructive tornadoes hit our community Saturday evening, NES crews have worked around the clock in freezing temperatures to successfully restore power to more than 42,000 customers. We are grateful for our customers’ patience and support as NES and outside crews made good strides restoring service to our community.
The work doesn’t stop there. We still have just over 6,000 customers still without power this morning. All attention remains focused on getting those re-energized. We will not stop working until every customer is back on. Look for additional updates throughout the day.
