NES OFFERS HIGH SCHOOLERS EARLY CAREER ADVICE

More than 7,000 high school freshmen got a glimpse of potential future opportunities at Metro Nashville Public School’s Career Exploration Fair.

Nashville Electric Service (NES) is a proud supporter of the seventh annual event held at the Music City Center. The career fair provides an avenue for students from 20 different high schools to talk with local professionals about their interests and how their studiesrelate to a variety of careers.

NES employees from across the organization were on hand to share insight into the utility industry and help students better understand all of the options available from engineering to line work to human resources.

In addition, NES was part of the team that won the Best in Show award for having the most interesting displays overall out of five different sections represented at the event.
