Nashville Electric Service (NES) linemen keep the tradition going by bringing home top honors from the 19th annual Tennessee Valley Lineman Rodeo.

Two NES rodeo teams, comprised of linemen from all three NES service centers, competed this past weekend at Paris Landing State Park. One NES team earned first place overall out of 25 teams. The other team won second place in the transformer change out event.

The rodeo is the ultimate venue for public power lineworkers to demonstrate their skill and knowledge and gain professional recognition as they compete in events that simulate real-life situations. It also provides an opportunity for family and friends to show their support.
