NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville Electric Service (NES) has launched an online outage reporting feature that offers a more convenient way to report power outages from any computer or mobile device.
Accessible through My Account at nespower.com, customers can submit outages in a few seconds from their online profile and request a call back from NES to confirm when service has been restored.
“NES is always looking to improve the customer experience, and with so many of our customers online, providing an easier way to report outages was important,” said Laurie Parker, Corporate Communications Supervisor at Nashville Electric Service. “The quicker we know that your power is out, the quicker we can get your power back on.”
Customers currently without an online profile should go ahead and register for My Account at nespower.com. This will help ensure faster outage reporting when the winter storm season rolls around.
Reporting an outage by phone is still available by calling the automated outage reporting line at (615) 234-0000. Customers need their NES account number, meter number or phone number associated with their account in order for the system to recognize the outage location.
