NES Crews to Help Small Town Crippled by Storm

Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Electric Service (NES) crews are headed to Fulton, KY, a small town on the Kentucky/Tennessee state line that is completely in the dark after this weeks ice storm. Approximately 1,800 customers are without power. Two NES crews will leave Thursday morning at approximately 4:10 a.m. at the Old Hickory Boulevard exit on I-24 near Whites Creek. NES officials estimate that it will take 2-3 days to complete repairs to the Fulton Electric System. NES has also released 35 contract workers from Davis H. Elliot to assist with the restoration efforts in Clarksville, TN. Those crews left on Wednesday.
