Today our NES team came together for lunch to celebrate Everyone Matters May! Employees enjoyed a taco bar from Moe’s and fresh peach cobbler from The Pink Truck, who graciously helped feed our linemen during this past January’s snowstorm. Our NES team also played cornhole, sang karaoke to our favorite songs and enjoyed a fun game of bingo on our back lot.
Everyone Matters May is part of Leading with Civility to Increase Belonging, NES’ four-year cultural transformation strategy encouraging civility, self-acceptance and empowerment. Throughout this past year, employees attended seminars and discussions highlighting employee development, shared beliefs, and diversity and inclusion as part of NES’ hiring processes.
