NASHVILLE, TN- Effective July 1, McNeely, Pigott & Fox will be working with Nashville Electric Service to develop a marketing and advertising strategy for the public utility. The Electric Power Board unanimously approved a recommendation to award the local public relations firm a three-year advertising contract, not to exceed $1.5 million.
McNeely, Pigott & Fox is partnering on the project with Hispanic Marketing Group.
NES spokeswoman Teresa Corlew says, “Our number of Hispanic customers has grown 21 percent in the last several years. Many of these families speak little or no English. We have and will continue to expand our communication and outreach to this growing community.”
In working with NES, McNeely, Pigott & Fox will be responsible for the design and placement of print and electronic ads, promotional materials, annual reports, brochures and presentations, copywriting and translation services.
Forty-one firms received an invitation to bid for the contract. Eleven firms submitted proposals that were reviewed by an evaluation committee. The three-year contract includes an option for two one-year extensions, if both parties agree.
