Congratulations to Antonio Carroll, NES attorney, for being recognized as one of Nashville’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Nashville Business Journal! Each year, the Nashville Business Journal highlights 40 impactful leaders in the community under the age of 40.
Antonio has extensive law and policy experience at local, state and federal levels. Carroll obtained his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Policy from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, during which he secured a Public Policy and International Affairs fellowship with the Goldman School at the University of California, Berkeley. Afterwards, Antonio went on to earn his master’s degree in strategic communications from Arkansas State University and an MBA from Southern Arkansas University. Following graduate school, Antonio gained his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University’s Law School.
Prior to his time at NES, Antonio served as a legal intern for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. In 2014, Carroll joined the NES family as a Law Clerk for the Office of Vice President & General Counsel. Since then, he has been appointed as a public power attorney for the utility and provides expertise and counsel on matters involving sustainability, environment, infrastructure and government relations.
Antonio is integral not only to NES’ legal team, but also NES’ involvement in the community. He frequently attends community meetings and events to help connect with customers and address any concerns they have.
