NES Vice President – Chief Customer and Innovation Officer Brent Baker spoke at the Tennessee Competitiveness Conversation held at Vanderbilt University on April 26, 2024. As Chief Customer and Innovation Officer, Baker highlighted the ways NES innovates its infrastructure, policies, and procedures to continue to provide Middle TN with safe, reliable and cost-efficient power.
Baker spoke alongside other leaders in the energy space like Jeff Lyash, President and CEO of TVA, Padma Raghavan, Vice Provost for Research and Innovation at Vanderbilt University, Randy Boyd, President of the University of Tennessee System, and Lindsey Cox, CEO at Launch Tennessee.
NES shared innovative strategies and programs, such as Music City Solar, LED Streetlights, Home Uplift/Power of Change, ongoing solar partnerships, My Usage, our EV Fleet and internal technology upgrades.
