Job seekers learned about potential career opportunities with Nashville Electric Service (NES) and other city departments at the Metro Employee Recruitment and Resource Fair on December 10.
“Metro is a great place to work and have a career that also gives back to the community,” said Mayor Megan Barry. “Nashville is strongest when we have the most diverse, qualified pool of applicants for these important positions that serve the taxpayers of Davidson County.”
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about current and future jobs with representatives from more than 20 Metro departments, including NES, Nashville Fire Department, Emergency Communications Center, Water Services, Metro Nashville Police Department, Public Works and Metro Codes.
In addition, experts were on hand to offer best practices for interviews, resume writing and financial management.
