A recent $1 million donation from NES has been entrusted to NeedLink specifically to help neighbors clear those balances and find some breathing room.
NeedLink has served as a vital safety net, helping neighbors navigate temporary hardships by providing short-term financial assistance and connecting them with essential resources. Every dollar donated by NES customers goes directly toward helping local families, seniors and individuals keep their lights on and their homes comfortable. For even more support, NES is waiving all late fees and suspending disconnections for nonpayment through June 2026. Additionally, unlimited payment arrangements are available through the end of 2026, allowing you to spread out your payments to fit your needs.
The impact of this partnership is profound. Last year, NeedLink approved 4,404 requests, assisting 3,827 households–totaling nearly 10,000 individuals.
