NES recently launched a new clean energy website for customers looking to go green. The new site is filled with resources designed to make the transition to conservation and renewable sources simple and cost effective.
The site links to subpages about programs NES has in partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) like Music City Solar, Nashville’s first community solar park that serves as the area’s first large-scale clean energy program that harnesses the power of the sun. Through the clean energy site, customers can also access more information about Home Uplift which provides free energy efficiency and weatherization home upgrades to qualified, limited-income households − saving applicants energy and utility costs and improving their overall quality of life.
Customers visiting the site can get information about other offerings through the NES/TVA partnership like Green Invest, Green Switch, Green Flex and Green Connect. The site even offers resources to help customers calculate their own energy usage within their homes, with tools like a heat pump calculator, a lighting calculator and a TV calculator.
Additionally, the website will share the latest news and updates involving NES. The news and updates section will include articles about NES’ community involvement, announcements from the utility and helpful tips for saving energy, preparing for storms and navigating customer accounts.
Customers can even learn about ways to save money through the “credits and rebates” tab. The tab lists information about ways to gain solar energy, electric vehicle and residential clean energy property credits. To visit the new site, click here.
