Graduation Day is right around the corner for thousands of high school seniors.
This major milestone is even more memorable for Rachel Hill, daughter of NES Vice President of Operations Don Hill. She is one of 30 graduating seniors in the Tennessee Valley to receive the prestigious TVA Power Play Scholarship.
The scholarships are awarded to high school seniors in the TVA region who excel academically and demonstrate a commitment to community service and whose parent/guardian is employed by a local power distributor.
Since the program was established in 1995, over 550 scholarships have been awarded.
Rachel will graduate from Independence High School in Williamson County. She will attend Lee University and plans to major in Communications and French.
