Nashville Electric Service (NES) held the second scheduled blood drive of the year on June 20 with record results. Employees stepped up to donate enough blood to save the lives of 135 patients, making it the most successful blood drive in over 12 years.
The third blood drive for 2018 will be held on Thursday, September 6. NES employees who participate in two of the three blood drives this year will be entered in a drawing to win an annual leave day.
