NES Warns Collection Calls Are a Scam

Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Electric Service does not make collection calls to customers. If you receive a phone call from someone who claims to be from NES and asks for your payment information, it is a scam. Do not provide that information to the caller. Instead hang up and call NES Customer Relations at 615-736-6900. NES never contacts customers by telephone or in person to ask for billing information. Also, NES field personnel will not accept bill payments or ask for payment for any type of work that NES performs.
