NES Volunteers ‘Stuff the Bus’ for Students in Need

It’s back to school time in Middle Tennessee and thousands of students are walking into class prepared for success thanks to hundreds of volunteers with United Way’s Stuff the Bus event at Nissan Stadium.

Nashville Electric Service (NES) employees donated their time to fill backpacks with necessary school supplies for 10,000 at-risk children at 11 Metro Nashville Public Schools.

NES was one of 58 corporate partners comprising more than 850 volunteers for the largest ever Stuff the Bus event. United Way will also provide backpacks to all of its family resource centers and 24 nonprofit partners.

NES is proud to play a small part in helping power students for learning. Check out photos from the event on our Facebook page.
