NES Announces Flooding Assistance Initiative

Nashville, Tenn. – NES and TVA will be holding a joint news conference Tuesday, June 8, at 2 p.m. to announce a valley-wide initiative to help residents and businesses recover from the recent flooding disaster. The news conference will held at NES main building at 1214 Church Street. Please enter through the Visitor’s Lobby after arriving. The TVA Energy Efficiency Disaster Assistance Initiative will offer residents and businesses in federal disaster areas easier access to energy efficiency incentives for heating and cooling systems, insulation and other energy saving measures as they rebuild. The program is specifically designed for victims of the recent floods, tornadoes, severe storms and mudslides in 73 counties declared as federal disaster areas in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Kentucky.
