Each year, the Academies of Nashville partners with Alignment Nashville to host the Academies of Nashville awards. The ceremony highlights wins in the Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) over the past year, as well as the people who helped make those successes possible.
The award for Experiential Learning Innovator of the Year recognizes a business or community partner that goes above and beyond for experiential learning opportunities for students through career fairs, industry field trips, job shadows and more.
Artetta West serves as NES’ lead on NES’ partnership with PENCIL, a nonprofit organization that builds strategic partnerships between community groups and the needs of Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS).
