Have you ever wondered how much energy you’re using in comparison to your neighbors? NES has launched a Neighborhood Comparison tool that allows customers to compare their energy usage to similar households near them.
The new feature can be accessed through a customer’s online account portal, or their “MyAccount” on nespower.com. The cool new tool allows customers to compare their energy consumption by cost and kWh usage to households in their neighborhood. The Neighborhood Comparison tool generates a report that shows you how much energy your home uses and how that usage stacks up to that of your neighbors. Customers can compare their usage to nearly 100 nearby occupied homes. The report compares a customer’s monthly bill to similar households near them over a 6–12-month period.
With Neighborhood Comparison, customers can now get a better idea of how much energy they’re using, receive helpful tips for energy saving and improve their energy efficiency to save money. If you’re curious about the usage in your area, use the Neighborhood Comparison tool today!
