NES Wins Top Performer Award for TVA Energy-Savings Program

Nashville Electric Service (NES) was recently honored with the Top Performer Award for fiscal year 2024 at the Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) All Customer Meeting. This prestigious award recognizes NES’s achievements in helping the community save energy and money through the EnergyRight programs.

NES was recognized as a Top Performer among the 153 local power companies served by the TVA, earning several accolades, including:

  • 1st place in PowerFlex Participants (4 participants)
  • 1st place in Total Demand Response Participants (228 participants)
  • 2nd place for Most Improved Energy Savings (GWh), with a year-over-year increase of 12.72 GWh
  • 3rd place for Total Energy Savings (GWh) with 19.10 GWh
  • 5th place for Total Demand Response Capacity (MW) with 21.57 MW
  • North Regional Champion for Total Energy Savings (GWh) from Community Programs, with 1,908,772 kWh in energy savings
