Nashville Electric Service (NES) has announced the appointment of new board member Ian Prunty, Anne Davis as chair of the Electric Power Board and Casey Santos as the vice chair.
Prunty brings more than 15 years of experience in the energy technology sector, with a career focused on innovative solutions for energy efficiency and data strategy. Currently serving as an Account Executive at Snowflake, Prunty helps large enterprises optimize their data strategy. He previously led business development at energy forecasting startup Myst.AI until its acquisition by Snowflake. A graduate of DePauw University and Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, he continues to be active in community-based organizations

A prominent Nashville-based attorney, Davis has led civil and criminal litigation at major firms, directed the Southern Environmental Law Center’s local office, and chaired multiple city sustainability initiatives while serving as Nashville’s First Lady from 2007–2015. Santos, appointed to the board in 2022, is Chief Technology Officer at Caliber Collision and previously served as Asurion’s Chief Information Officer.
Prunty, Davis and Santos serve alongside Rob McCabe and Clifton Harris on the Electric Power Board. Electric Power Board members are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the council to serve five- year staggered terms without pay.
