NES is proud to be a dedicated supporter of the Nashville community, actively participating in engaging STEM events like the community egg drop challenges at local schools.
This classic STEM activity requires students to design and build a device to protect a raw egg dropped from a significant height, offering a hands-on experience to understanding concepts like force and motion.
To elevate the excitement and the challenge, our dedicated NES employees—including engineers and linemen—volunteer to organize, mentor students and often use an NES bucket truck to perform the high-altitude drops.
By engaging directly with students at schools like Head Magnet Middle School and Hillsboro High School, we are fulfilling our commitment to promoting STEM education and inspiring the next generation of innovators right here in the Nashville area.
