NES Powers the Future: Engaging Students at Middle Tennessee Career Fairs

This fall, NES is actively engaging the next generation by hosting Career Days at various schools across the Middle Tennessee community

The initiative showcases the vast career opportunities within the energy industry, extending beyond traditional roles like linemen and engineers. The NES team provides hands-on demonstrations and focuses on crucial professional skills to empower students.Students are learning about essential paths in linework, meter, substations, legal, accounting, customer services, safety and fleet management.

NES has visited numerous schools, including Station Camp High School, Pearl-Cohn High School, Hull Jackson Montessori School, Cane Ridge High School and Nashville Christian School, among others. We are proud to help these students get a jump start on their career paths and prepare the future Nashville workforce.

A career in energy offers stable, rewarding paths for nearly every skill set, providing a chance to make a difference by supplying a critical, life-sustaining service right in their community.
