NES Employee Honored with Belmont University’s Honorable Life Award

NES is proud to announce that Engineering Supervisor, Rashed Fakhruddin, was honored with the Honorable Life Award from Belmont University’s Global Honors program on September 8. This award recognizes a community role model who exemplifies a life of honor and service.

Rashed, the fifth recipient of the award, was celebrated by NES’s VP and Chief Customer and Innovation Officer, Brent Baker, during the Global Honors Program’s annual dinner.

The award is tied to the Honors Interdisciplinary Seminar, also known as “An Honorable Life.” This introductory course challenges students to explore the nature of goodness and what it means to live a good life by considering happiness, virtue and wisdom from a variety of perspectives, including philosophical, theological and scientific. The course is designed to increase students’ capacity to use multiple ways of defending claims to knowledge by studying the humanities.

Please join us in congratulating Rashed on this outstanding achievement!
