Yesterday NES employees were present at Judge Kimbrough Hayes and Reverend Enoch Fuzz’s second annual Passion for Justice Community Cookout and Resource Fair. The yearly event serves as an opportunity for community members to socialize, enjoy food and music, and learn about helpful resources and programs available to them. The community cookout took place at Corinthians Missionary Baptist Church between 1 to 3 pm.
NES representatives were able to connect with the community and spread awareness about different programs and resources we offer to our customers such as Home Uplift, Project Help and other NESHelps initiatives.
Rashed Fakhruddin, Engineering Supervisor at NES, was recognized as a devoted community member at the event and was awarded the OneNashville Passion for Justice Award. This accolade is earned by outstanding community advocates who have demonstrated a commitment to community service throughout Metro Nashville. We were elated to be able to connect with our community while celebrating our team member’s accomplishments. Way to go, Rashed! We are proud to have such community-focused members a part of our NES family.
