The Mid-South Electric Meter Association (MSEMA) recently inducted NES into its Hall of Fame. Normally, the MSEMA selects an individual to be inducted into the Hall of Fame each year, but this year, NES was inducted as a whole. MSEMA conducts annual meter schooling for utility industry professionals, like operations employees at NES. The organization selects Hall of Fame members who have been supporters of the organization, meter school and overall furthering the field of electric utility metering.

NES employees Jack Baxter, Vice President of Power System Operations, and Eric Lewis, Operations Manager, both traveled to Gatlinburg for an MSEMA meeting where they received the award on NES’ behalf. There were over 200 meter school attendees and more than 60 vendor participants at the meeting.
NES has contributed to the MSEMA since its inception 75 years ago. The utility designates employees and volunteers to attend MSEMA events as instructors, mentors and supporters. NES has also sent students to every MSEMA school and provided the organization with financial support.
Congratulations to the NES Meter Division for this incredible honor!
