This recognition highlights new hires, promotions and significant career milestones across the Nashville business community, positioning our attorney among the region’s best and brightest.
An award-winning attorney and civic leader, Antonio brings deep expertise in energy law, government relations and nonprofit governance to his work at NES. Driven by a passion for sustainability, public service and community impact, his commitment extends far beyond the utility. He is the Board Chair Emeritus of The Nashville Food Project, a 2024 Nashville Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree and has recently joined the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.
Antonio’s impressive background includes extensive law and policy experience at the local, state and federal levels. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Policy from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Arkansas State University and an MBA from Southern Arkansas University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University’s Law School.
His tenure at NES began in 2014 as a Law Clerk following a legal internship with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Today, Antonio serves as a public power attorney, providing essential counsel on critical matters including sustainability, infrastructure, environmental issues and government relations. Beyond his legal duties, Antonio is integral to NES’ community engagement, regularly connecting with customers at meetings and events to address their concerns.
