NES WORKSHOPS ARM CUSTOMERS WITH TOOLS TO FIGHT HIGH BILLS

Nashville Electric Service (NES) is kicking off a round of free Neighborhood Energy Savers Workshops starting with Margaret Maddox YMCA on Saturday, May 14. Customers are invited to attend any of the six free workshops to learn easy, energy-efficiency improvements for your home.

The workshops offer hands-on learning opportunities at multiple demonstration stations, including how to use caulk and weather stripping to seal air leaks around windows, doors and baseboards. Participants will also receive a free tool kit valued at $25 to get started saving energy right away.

Workshops are scheduled from 9:30 to 11 a.m. throughout the year to help customers proactively lower their energy usage and better prepare for higher seasonal bills in the summer and winter.
