NES Receives Minority Leadership Award

NASHVILLE, TN – For the 13th year in a row, Nashville Electric Service (NES), has received a leadership award for participation in the Nashville Bar Association’s First Year Law Clerk Minority Opportunities Program.

NES General Counsel Gene Ward accepted the award which was presented at the Law Day luncheon on April 28. Last summer, NES employed Laurie Durham, a first year law student at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.

NES plans to participate in the program again this summer.
