Free Energy-Saving Workshop This Weekend

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Need to winterproof your home? Nashville Electric Service (NES) can help. NES, along with the Tennessee Valley Authority, is offering hands-on training to customers who want to lower their energy usage. Take advantage of a free Neighborhood Energy Savers workshop this weekend. When: Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9:30-11 a.m. Where: Margaret Maddox YMCA, 2624 Gallatin Road, Nashville 37216 This workshop offers participants an opportunity to practice using expanding insulation foam, caulk, and weather-stripping to seal air leaks, as well as learn how to utilize other energy-saving tools to lower their bills. Each participating household will receive a free energy-saving tool-kit, so that customers can go home and implement the improvements right away.
