Customers Without Power Until Late Friday Night

Nashville, Tenn. – Approximately 200 Nashville Electric Service customers in the Hunters Lane/Dickerson Pike area have been without power since 11 a.m. Friday morning. NES crews are working to install a mobile substation to repair the problem, but it could be as late as 10 p.m. tonight before everyone is back on. Crews are working quickly to correct the equipment failure. NES will be calling customers who are affected to notify them of the extended outage. Nashville Electric Service is one of the 12 largest public electric utilities in the nation, distributing energy to 360,000 customers in Middle Tennessee.
