Attorney Yanika Smith-Bartley Named to NES Board

Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville attorney Yanika Smith-Bartley has been named to the Nashville Electric Service Power Board. Her five year term will expire July 1, 2015. Smith-Bartley serves as Director and Legal Counsel for Asurion Corporation. Previously, Smith-Bartley served as an associate with Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC of Nashville. She also held an associate position with Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP. Active in various civic organizations within the community, Smith-Bartley is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Napier Bar Association and Nashville Bar Association. She has served on the board of the Bethlehem Centers of Nashville and is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Smith-Bartley holds a B.A. from Fisk University and a J.D. from the Vanderbilt University Law School.
